This young energetic project is an amalgamation of a creative thought process and clarity in requirements between us as architects and an upcoming Fashion designer.

The design and its main brief was a personal room for two young sisters who love to Travel and need a fashionable space which reflects their attitude and lifestyle.

The design generated a Bohemian chic language and a space that defined studies, fun, friends and privacy. 

The room was zoned in 4 parts – Studying +Entertainment, Alcove for a personal hide out, Sleeping space, Walk in wardrobe/ Dressing area. 

The entrance to the room is a chic blue with a classy touch to it. On entering we first come across the Studying/ Entertainment Zone. It holds two study tables – studying and sewing. Each has its own language and importance. The client explained her thoughts behind the arrangement of each study and we intervened in as per her needs. This space is creative and energetic as it converts itself into an entertainment zone with a screen unfolding at the brick wall for projection, an art wall that reflects their personality and a game zone with an open floor to unwind oneself. 

The Alcove - is a little projection with windows on all three sides and curtains braided in crochet hanging from a wooden rod. This space is a hide out for the girls. 

Sleeping space – A world map wallpaper adorns the wall with a raised wooden platform running the length of the Sleeping space. On one side of the bed is a solid wooden swing suspended by a rope from the raftered ceiling and a set of trunks on the other side make for side tables. 

Walk in wardrobe – is a classic entity that holds a wide collection of the fashion designer, largely organized and managed as a walk with designated areas for each element. The vanity mirror is located at the entrance of the wardrobe coupled up with a wooden ladder to hold the clothes and accessories in sync. 

A space that modifies itself as per the requirement and lifestyle.
